TabTidy is a browser extension that analyzes your open tabs and scores them to help you decide which to keep and which to close. Your privacy is important to us — TabTidy is designed to work entirely locally in your browser.

Data Collection

TabTidy does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:

• No tab URLs, titles, or browsing history are sent to any server.
• No analytics or tracking scripts are included.
• No cookies are used.
• No accounts or sign-ups are required.

Local Storage

TabTidy uses Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage) solely to save your UI preferences, such as the "current window only" filter setting. This data never leaves your browser.

Permissions

• tabs — Used to read the URL, title, and last access time of your open tabs for scoring purposes. This data is processed locally and never transmitted.
• storage — Used to persist your preferences between sessions.

Third Parties

TabTidy does not share any data with third parties. There are no external scripts, APIs, or services contacted during use.
